Foreign students have been awarded certificates of accomplishment of the pre-university training

     On June 27, a solemn ceremony was held to present certificates of pre-university training to graduates who completed the course of the pre-university department for foreigners. During the academic year, foreign applicants studied Russian language, the basics of mathematics, physics, computer science, and social sciences to the extent necessary to study at a technical university. The final exam tested the knowledge of the fundamental disciplines.

     Foreign students have been studying at KSTU since 1962. This year certificates were awarded to thirty students from eleven countries: Tajikistan, Liberia, China, Morocco, Ghana, Mongolia, Syria, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, Tunisia and Sweden. In the future, foreign applicants will join KSTU, BFFSA and other universities in Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg.

     This year the most popular degree programme among foreigners was computer science; other areas chosen by graduates - economics, construction, navigation. Teaching staff from the Russian language department emphasized the success of the best students of the pre-university department: Kone Tenan (Côte d’Ivoire), Altanchuluun Gungadorzh (Mongolia), Ba Usman Sambu (Senegal).We wish all future students success in their studies! We hope that in the future our graduates will become qualified and sought-after specialists.
