KSTU has hosted the first graduation of masters completed the double degree programme

     On Saturday, February 22, the long-awaited event took place in the assembly hall of KSTU - the solemn presentation of diplomas to graduates of the Institute of Industrial Economics and Management. It was the first graduation of masters who took part in the educational programmes of two universities and received diplomas from Kaliningrad State Technical University and Sopot High School.

     Graduation was an important milestone for our graduates. Each of them, without any doubt, will recall how the rector of Kaliningrad State Technical University, Vladimir Volkogon entered the stage with a welcoming speech. He congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of the next stage in training and urged them not to stop there. Another honored guest, the rector of the Sopot High School Teresa Martynyuk, greeted the masters after KSTU rector. In her welcoming remarks, she congratulated the graduates and emphasized the importance of the existing agreement between our universities on the implementation of the double diploma programme for masters in “Finance and Credit”.

     Director of the Institute of Industrial Economics and Management A.G. Mnatsakanyan also congratulated his graduates and reminded of the need for constant self-improvement in order to become a true professional. According to Mr. Mnatsakanyan, cooperation with Sopot High School has intensified the life of the institute and KSTU as a whole, allowed teachers to familiarize themselves with the methods of work of foreign colleagues, and students- to take advantage of the participation in the double diploma programme.

     The final point of the ceremony was the speech of the Deputy Director for Master's Programmes, Angelica Cohan, who announced the completion of the course and assignment of a master’s qualification to the yesterday's students. Graduation ceremony concluded with taking commemorative photographs.
