Second educational intensive course “Generation Z” has started at KSTU

     On March 2, the second educational intensivе course “Generation Z” began in the hall of the academic council of KSTU. At its opening, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of the University V.I. Ustich congratulated the audience on the start of the project and reminded the participants that participation in the intensive course is taken into account when submitting documents for the enhanced stipend of KSTU.

     Vice-rector for scientific work N.A. Kostrikova congratulated the participants and emphasized the importance of each submitted project for the university.

     Deputy Dean for scientific work, Associate Professor of the Department of Food Biotechnology E.S. Zemlyakova talked about the highlights of the educational intensive course “Generation Z”, that it will consist of an educational and project track. Also, an intensive course format implies online and offline meetings. It is planned that the intensive will last until the end of May.

     Mentors presented their projects. Head of the Department, Associate Professor A.B. Tristanov presented the projects: “Development of an MVP online course”, “Research on methods for forming an optimal diet”, “Design of an industry-specific educational platform”.

     Projects proposed by M.S. Kharitonov: "Development of the concept of an educational and technological laboratory of profile and pre-profile training in "Electric power industry and electrical engineering ", " Development of the corporate identity of the Department of electric power industry and electrical engineering ".

     A.Yu. Nikishin, associate professor of the Department of Electrical Equipment of Ships and Electric Power Industry offered the following projects to the participants: “Development of an MVP online course “Introduction to the profession ” in "Electric Power Industry and Electrical Engineering”, “Development of the concept of identification of power consumers for use in the Smart Home power supply system ”.

     T.R. Nikulin, deputy dean for scientific work, programme director of “KSTU boiling point” presented the projects: “Development of a device for monitoring the weight and geolocation of wagons”, “Intelligent gas generator control system”, “Smart and beautiful “KSTU boiling point” project.

     The team of organizers of educational intensive course consists of political leader of the project Oksana Gennadievna Ogiy, coordinator, EDE Evgenia Sergeevna Zemlyakova, head of project activities Anna Viktorovna Lisevich, adjuster of educational system Andrei Yurievich Nikishin, administrator of the platform is Denis Anatolyevich Bazarov, responsible for PR and social networks Anastasia Sergeevna Zavadskaya, technical visionary - Maxim Sergeevich Kharitonov.

Schedule of events of the first cycle:

March 3 - team building with A.V. Lisevich, senior lecturer of the Department of industry logistics, marketing and commerce, room 256 of the main university building;

March 5 - lecture on online services with A. B. Tristanov, Ph.D., head of the Department of computer science and information technology, room 256 of the main university building;

March 10 - master class in organizing project work based on the Trello service with A. B. Tristanov, Ph.D., head of the Department of informatics and information technology, room 256 of the main university building ;

March 12 - meeting with the mentor (venue by appointment).
