Submission of abstracts/ articles:
Those who participate in person/remotely in the Baltic maritime forum (hereinafter referred to as the Forum) with the following publication of the materials, must submit abstracts/articles in the registration form within specified time.
Prior to filling in the registration form, please, make sure your file with abstracts (article) is ready.
File name: without quotes, symbols, superscripts and subscripts: Full name of the first author, abstracts (article) title.
If there are co-authors: only one author submit abstracts (article). There is no need for each of the authors to submit materials for publication. In case of in person participation- full name of the spokesperson must be included in the registration form. The other authors can be registered as co-authors (without attaching abstracts (article)).
After sending the registration form with the attached abstracts (article), a participant receives an automatic notice on submission of the material to the Organising committee. The author(-s) can check the receipt of the materials by calling the representatives of the Organising committee. You can find the telephone numbers in the section “Organising committee. The list of conferences with sections of the V International Baltic maritime forum” (http://www.klgtu.ru/science/conferences/bmf/bmf_2017/bmf_2017_en/).
After the Organising committee receives the registration form with abstracts/ article, the materials are checked for compliance with the applicable requirements.
A mandatory requirement for publication of the article is a decision on publication, except for the articles by foreign authors. If such decision is unavailable until 30.04.2017, the author(-s) are banned from participation in the conference.
All the submitted articles undergo a plagiarism check in the university system “Antiplagiat. VUZ”. The decision on the legitimacy of the paper publication is made by the head of the conference section or by the chairperson of the organizing committee.
In case of a favourable decision of the Organising committee on publication of the materials, the author who submitted the abstracts (article) is sent an e-mail of confirmation.
The book of abstracts will be printed in black and white. Before the start of the conference, one copy of the book is given to the first author of the abstracts.
The collection of articles is published in author’s edition in electronic form on CDs. The book is given ISBN and it is sent to RSCI data base. Imprints of the book after its registration in FSUE STC “Informregistr” will be placed here: http://www.klgtu.ru/science/conferences/bmf/bmf_2017/
Non-residents of the Kaliningrad region will be sent a CD with the Forum proceedings by post through the offices of RSCI “Pochta Rossii”.
The best articles according to the decision of the Organising committees of the Forum will be published in the corresponding sections of the journals “Izvestiya KGTU”, “Izvestiya BGARF”.
Please, note that payment of one registration fee involves publication of a maximum of two abstracts (articles) by one author including those prepared with co-authors within one conference.
In case of publication of abstracts without an article registration fee is less.
The Forum Organizers have a right to decline participation of authors and to refuse of abstracts (article) publication in the presence of one or some of the following reasons:
- nonconformance to the topic of the conference (workshop, etc.),
- nonconformance to abstracts (articles) guidelines,
- unavailability of the decision on open access publication (except for foreign participants),
- unpaid registration fee.
The decision on publication of the material is made by the head of the section or the chairperson of the orginising committee.
Provided the materials are declined, the Organising committee will send a written notice to the author about the necessity to reconcile inconsistencies or, if there is no feedback, a notification on failure to publish the materials.
