IMTPEC shipbuilding students became winners in NWFD in the All-Russian Student Olympiad
Students of Shipbuilding, Ocean Engineering, System Engineering of Marine Infrastructure Facilities (IMTPEC- Institute of Marine Technologies, Power Engineering and Construction) Nikita Zhivotiagin, Daniil Malkov and Pavel Rozhkov took first place in the North-West Federal District at the 43rd All-Russian Student Olympiad with International Participation on Strength of Materials.
The competition took place at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
18 universities took part in the Olympiad.
The students beat the competitive universities of St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Arkhangelsk and Perm, giving way to Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Polytechnic University and Samara National Research University and took the fourth place in Russia.
Our team received the first-degree diploma.
Students' preparation for the Olympiad was serious and systematic.
During the academic year, they actively worked on non-standard tasks under the guidance of Professor, Doctor of Engineering Sciences A.I. Pritykin.
