International Relations Department

Established in 1995, the International Relations Department is to further enhance teaching and research of the University. 
The main objectives of the International Relations Department are organization, realization and coordination of faculties and departments co-operation with foreign academic and research institutions, as well as industry and foundations.
In the frame of its organizational work, the International Department supports the faculties in receiving foreign delegations (visa invitations, accommodation, programmes of visits, registration at local authorities, interpretation and translation, etc.) and in organizing visits of KSTU delegations going abroad (visa support, travelling arrangements, agreement of programmes for visits, interpretation and translation, etc.).
The Department keeps in touch in Russian representatives and head offices of foreign foundations and academic institutions
Students, post-graduates and the faculty receive regular information on possibilities of international collaboration (training programmes, research and job placements abroad, financing, legislation, etc.).
The Department also supports the staff of the University in obtaining Polish and Lithuanian visas, as well as foreign passports at the Foreign Affairs Representation in Kaliningrad.
Assistance is provided to the faculties and departments in the form of translating their mail, project  documentation, and information materials.
