A mass action Profnavigator was held at KSTU
The event, which took place on January 28, was aimed at helping future applicants choose the direction of further education and to determine the set of subjects to pass the Unified State Exam, as well as to inform them about the opportunities and prospects of studying at the university.

Approximately three hundred people attended the event: schoolchildren and their parents from Kaliningrad, Zelenogradsk, Svetlogorsk, Baltiysk, Pionersky, Gvardeysk, Bagrationovsk, Mamonovo, Svetly, Sovetsk, Ladushkinsky Urban District, Nivenskoye, Romanovo, Donskoye, Pereslavskoye, Bolshoye Isakovo, Grachevka, and others. General education organisations (No. 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, 13, 17, 18, 22, 24, 26, 26, 28, 29, 31, 33, 39, 40, 46, 47, 49, 50, 57, 58, KML, etc.) actively joined Profnavigator.

The children had a chance to take free career guidance tests and receive counselling from psychologists on the choice of their future educational path.

After the career testing, teachers and students of KSTU institutes held master-classes at their platforms and advised the children on the directions of education.

At the same time, during the lecture for parents, information about trends in higher education and effective strategies for shaping the professional future was given by the First Vice-Rector of the University, O. G. Ogiy.

Olga Strelkova, Head of the Psychological Service at BFFSA, conducted a workshop for parents entitled A Collection of Useful Tips on Topical Issues of Self-Determination and Tips to Reduce Anxiety (how to help a child choose a profession, how to discuss plans at a family council, how to support a child and recognise his or her independence, how to ensure the rule do no harm etc.).

E. N. Goncharova, Director of the Centre for Pre-University Projects, told the audience about the university projects for schoolchildren.

All the issues discussed at the lecture aroused lively interest among the parents.

At the end of the event, the participants were presented with invitations to the Applicant Day 2024, which will be held on March 3, 2024.
