Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation meets students at KSTU

In the assembly hall of Kaliningrad State Technical University, students from Kaliningrad higher education institutions met with D.N. Chernyshenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation. The meeting was attended by students—winners of the Student Startup competition—as well as developers and project managers of the university startup studios. They told the guest about their ideas, projects and plans.

In the assembly hall, a small exhibition of the achievements of young innovators from KSTU and IKBFU was opened. There, a KSTU student, Elizaveta Andreeva, demonstrated samples of hydrolysis products from sprat loss and waste. Anastasia Lavrenova, a postgraduate student of the Food Technology Department at KSTU, presented her sweet project. Sweets Omega-3 Truffles helped her win the competition University Startup and launch her own production.

During the meeting, Dmitry Nikolaevich congratulated students on Russian Students` Day and also answered students` questions about the possibility of an apprenticeship in Skolkovo, the problems of personnel training, ways of combining science and business, and the possibility of improving entrepreneurial competence.
