KSTU conducted the opening ceremony of an international educational project

On March 13, KSTU hosted the opening of the joint educational online project of the EAEU countries, Cultivation of valuable fish species in closed water supply systems.

Representatives from several universities and scientific organisations from Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan took part in the international event. Our university was represented in the project by V. I. Ustich, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and O. A. Novozhilov, Director of the Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture.

The first welcoming speech to the project participants was delivered by A. A. Harutyunyan, Director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The course participants were also welcomed by V. I. Sokolov, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Fishery (Rosrybolovstvo).

During the project, the representatives of the industry in the videoconference mode will consider topical issues of commercial fish breeding in industrial aquaculture: production and choice of feed, prevention and treatment of diseases, selection and farming. As part of the course, the participants will also discuss such an important technical issue as software development.
